Running a promotion on The Warehouse Marketplace will require a different process depending on your integration method.
NB: Promotional start and end date must not exceed 28 days per the Promotional and Pricing Compliance Guidelines
Omnivore.
Part One:
- Navigate to your Omnivore dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings -> TheMarket -> General -> How do we treat Sale Price versus RRP?
- Click on the drop down and select RRP_OVERRIDES_SALE_NOT_PROMO
This allows sale pricing to be the same as RRP pricing with the ability to set promotional pricing that would not be overridden by this.
Part Two:
If you want to create a promotion for all products, read below.
If you want to create a promotion for select products, read Part Three.
- Navigate to the left-hand menu -> Promotions -> Create New Promotion
- Fill out the relevant details and select either all Marketplaces or just ‘TheMarket’.
- Ensure a START and END date is established of no longer than 28 days.
- Select apply to all products or define which products you want the sale applied to by selecting a product group.
- Click 'Create Promotion'.
NB: If a start and sale date is not defined, the promotion will appear as an RRP price rather than 'red pricing' that customers know as a 'deal'.
Part Three:
You will need to define the products you wish to be on sale by creating a product group.
- Navigate to the left-hand column -> Products -> Product Groups
- Click ‘Add product Group’
- Give the group a name
- Define which SKUs you wish to be included in the group either by individual SKUs, category, or brands.
- Click Create Product Group.
- Return to Part Two to create the promotion.
